Busy Conference Season ahead for skeletal genetics@newcastle university

A vital role for all Newcastle ‘skeletal genetics’ scientists is to disseminate their novel findings to all stake holders within our research community.

‘Team Skeletal’ – including both senior members of the team and early career researchers – will be attending a number of conferences this summer to disseminate our exciting new results.

Beth will be attending the ‘Cartilage Gordon Conference’ and will present her exciting new findings on disease mechanisms in the aggrecanopathies through the in-depth analysis of our new genetic models.

In May Mike will be talking at the Cutting Edge Rheumatology’ meeting in Lund, Sweden on New therapeutic targets in rare genetic skeletal diseases.

Kasia and Mike will be attending the Annual Rubicon Meeting to provide an update on our role in this project, including Pete’s trip to Melbourne and Kasia’s planned trip to Chennai.

In September we are going to push the boat out and field the entire 1st XI (well 6 of us anyway) for our favourite conference!
